New snares for SJC Custom Drums
A few weeks back I sent out a couple more snares for the SJC Drums Artist series. This one was made for a guy named Courtney Weidelich. At his request, I included some maple leaves and he also wanted his name written on it. For the name, I recruited my bud Nathan Barnes to help out. Came out pretty cool I think.
The guys at SJC always do a great job selecting the hardware to go with the snares after the artists mess with them, as in powder coating the lugs to contrast with the colors and things like that.
This drum was made for Brendan Horn. Brendan had a pretty precise idea of what he wanted on his snare and included a reference he drew himself. I was into the idea but nervous it was a little outside of my- stupid made up creature cartoon bright colors- bubble. But at any rate I still included some of my stupid made up creature bright colored cartoon things anyway. I hope he likes it haha.
